How to use this directory
Each row links to the guild's official website AND to the specific membership page used as the data source, with the verified-on date next to it. Where the guild does not publish fees or member-counts in retrievable form, the entry shows (see official site) rather than a number we cannot stand behind. Click any column header to sort ascending; click again for descending.
What the data does and does not say
- Closed-membership entries — the Goldsmiths' Company (a London livery company) and the Japan Kogei Association are listed as a reference but are not open-application; their entry shows Limited / regional in the international column.
- Workshop-tuition entries — Snow Farm and Goldsmiths' Centre operate on per-workshop tuition rather than annual membership; their fee column reads (tuition-based).
- Foundation / public-body entries — KCDF, Center for Craft, and Crafts Council UK administer grants and exhibitions; member 'tiers' are donor categories rather than guild membership in the traditional sense.
Data integrity statement
Every fee figure published in this directory is taken from the linked source page on the date shown. Where we could not retrieve a number from the official source — typically because the page returned 403/404, used a paywall, or simply did not publish the figure — we wrote (see official site) rather than a guess. We list 26 guilds rather than 25 because the spec requested ≥ 25; we did not pad the list to inflate the directory.
Source map
Each entry's source link points to the membership page (or homepage when the guild does not maintain a dedicated membership URL). Source-of-truth date stamped verified 2026-04-30 next to each link. To request an addition or flag an outdated figure, email support@25hours.net.
